I have no problem giving these people 5 Stars. Their food is excellent and priced fair. It's always a treat to eat here, I always recommend them to anyone in town who likes Mexican. Sad about their home made Chipotle sauce at the sauce bar, I don't see it anymore but if they bring it back it's as authentic as it gets. And delicious.

Decent price for a steak and egg burrito. Tortilla could be a bit softer

Something has changed at this place. The ambiance at this place has never been great but the food has been decent at a good price. And, the service has always been fast. Today was different. There's a new person at the cash register and a new cook. I stood at the counter waiting to be noticed for three minutes while the cashier chatted with the cook. After we placed our order, nothing exotic, just three meals, it took 25 minutes for food to be prepared. In the past the same meals have always come up in 10 to 15 minutes. I would note that there was only one other party in the restaurant when we were there, so they were not overworked. I'm not sure what's happened here, but it's a disappointment today. Maybe it's just the new help or maybe the place is under new ownership. Anyway, I'll wait a few weeks and give them one more try before I don't return again. I hope someone at Alfonso's reads this.

A good place to eat. Had chicken enchiladas with rice and beans was very filling. Would definitely eat there again

Real Mexican food that is a rare treat for Prescott. The portions are plentiful and the food served up warm. Prices are fair given the quality and quantity of what you are given. The dining area lacks atmosphere and the place overall looks tired. Alfhonzo's knows how to make delicious dishes, but they need to get in compliance with basic restaurant cleanliness standards. The cook does not wear gloves. The restroom does not post for employees to wash their hands. I could go on, but I am easily distracted by the deliciousness of every dish I've ever had here.
